Opening Bridge CC2022 with Apple M! chip

Since upgrading to the Apple 24 inch iMac with the M1 Chip I am having a great deal of difficulty opening Bridge2022. I have downloaded Rosetta 2 but the problems persist.

What do you mean "great difficulty"? When you click on the Bridge icon, what happens?

It opens but does not respond. I continually have to force quit and try again and again and again.I bought this M! chip device thinking I would have rocket speed since my old iMac 2013 was creeoing along. Insteasd all I have bought has been a totally frustrating experience.
