Question

Option to Disable thumbnails entirely?

Is there a temporary option to disable thumbnails while navigating through certain folders?  For example, after I render out a few versions of an animation in a .png sequence where the frame numbers go into the thousands, it would be great to be able to toggle thumbnail preview on or off so I'm not freezing my machine for a few minutes everytime I click into a newly created folder with an animated sequence.  Does such an option exist?

(Like the detail view in file explorer on windows)

Otherwise I enjoy thumbnails most other times so I don't want to necessarily change the settings across all folders.

Any help would be appreciated!

Technically, yes, you can set the size limit for processing files really low in Preferences. 0MB would mean that any uncached files would be ignored. However, that also means that no other data besides previews/thumbnails would be visible.

This can be set in a script with app.preferences.FileSize
