Photo downloader does not show previews of Fuji XT-3 RAF files

I have tried this on 3 different machines, Photo Downloader never shows the RAF files from my Fuji XT-3 camera. It has been like this for a year. With RAF files from my XT-2 camera I don't have that problem. Am I the only one? Is this is Photo Downloader problem of a windows problem? After importing Bridge does show previews but it's hard to make a selection in Downloader like this.

Hello, thank you for this post, as I've got exactly the same problem with my NEW X-T3 AND X-T30 (Sep. 2020) in the Bridge Downloader and I think it is embarrassing for a company like Adobe, not to be able to fix this within a year's time. But I'm optimistic that, after it becomes clear that this isn't a single issue, that Adobe will tackle this problem.

I am missing something here? I cannot believe after so many updates I am still not seeing previews, is there something I should install in my windows machine aside from adobe suite? This is crazy

I still haven't found any solution 😞 This is indeed crazy, and is a loss of productivity...)

 

I'm seeing previews in Windows Explorer, in Adobe Bridge... but not in the photo downloader ....

Do the previews appear in finder?

 

Is this Catalina OS?

@japhys, glad to see your post, as I have the same issues, and can't get around it either. I have the issue on Windows 10 / Bridge 10.1

An update on this. I'm still not able to see thumbs in Bridge photo downloader. But, as I was not able to see previews in Windows Explorer neither, I thought the two issues might be related.

 

So I installed Microsoft Raw Image Extension, from the Microsoft Store ; and now I have thumbnails appearing in Windows Explorer for my X-T3 RAF. However, they still don't appear in Bridge photo downloader.
