Photo downloader in Bridge doesn’t work.

WIN 11 Pro. All Adobe apps up to date. Message appeared that MSVCP100.dll was missing. I installed that file using the link provided.

the file was x64:vc_redist.x64.exe

Photo downloader still doesn't work.

    Which version of Adobe Bridge have you installed? Have you tried reinstalling the application?

    If you're encountering an issue with the Photo Downloader in Adobe Bridge and receiving an error message stating that MSVCP100.dll is missing, it suggests a problem with a required system file.

     

    Please install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package. The missing MSVCP100.dll file is related to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package. You can download and install the appropriate version of the package from the official Microsoft website. Select the version that matches your operating system (32-bit or 64-bit).

    My version of Bridge is 13.0.3.693.

    I haven't resinstalled Bridge.

    I did download the appropriate C++ files for my system.

    Thank you for your input.

    I have a question tho. Why would these 2010 files be suitable/useable for my system in 2023?
    Hasnt Microsoft updated these essential files for this present year?
