Preview images are not to ratio

Why do all my preview images look like they have been scale 16:9 instead of 6:4
All images whether in Content folfer or in preview screen are horizontally stretched

    just checked the display properties of the screen and the recent Windows update has messed up the display resolution

      Very strange that the screen snips look correct but i do not see it on screen like that
