How can I generate a preview of my old InDesign CS Files in the Bridge automatically without having to open them manually and save them again?

Is there a possibility to script the Bridge and let it open my InDesign files and overwrite it generating a preview of it?

ok, it seems to me i have to get firm with scripting before I can use it. Is there a guideline to do this procedure without scripting knowledge for this case?
