Question

Problem: deleting images takes TOO LONG. Is there any real help for this?

Hi,

1.  Due to the functionality of Bridge (ie it's really good for me), I continue to use it, however the speed is just... terrible.     I can tolerate how long it takes to load up the images ( I just let it run while I... take a nap or something).   However, once everything is loaded up, Bridge just takes too long to delete selected images as well as images I would like to simply hide.

2.  I've read the various documentation on Cache but would like to get very specific and concrete (ie basic) recommendations on how to deal with the above problem (if it even exists).

Thanks in advance, Harry

    Hi harryshin,

Please let us know the OS and Bridge version that you are using.

Also please try resetting Bridge preferences and let us know if it helps.

    • Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears.

    • Select options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces-and then click OK.
