PSD's with transparent backgrounds looking odd in Bridge

Created many images in photoshop with a transparent background and I'm getting an odd checkered background in the latest verison of Bridge. The files open up fine but, it's a little concerning... so I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue? pic included. Thanks!

That checkered pattern is used to indicate that those regions are transparent. If you see that, and those regions are supposed to be transparent, you're good!
