Question

Really like the simplicity of the app

I've just begun to use Bridge for cataloging after frustration with LR. This is ecellent, simple, and does what it's supposed to.

I used Media Pro for years and this is the closest to it I've found. I have 3 requests for the next version:

1 On the advanced Downloader interface, I'd like to be able to make the thumbs big enough to choose selects more easily and D/L less of them.

2. When using colors for sorting, it would be great to outline the entire thumb with that color, so it's easier to see choices as I slide thru the thumbs.

3. Please add "New Folder" to the drop down options under "Move" when I right click on a group I have selected in the thumbs. Other wise I have to choose the images, go to File Explorer and make the new folder, then return to Bridge and choose it under "Move". If there's an easier way, I'd love to hear about it!

Thank you again for a great tool!

Hi Nashrambler,

I've good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the Bridge team is very understaffed and their ability to get to all of the great requests has always been underwhelming. While I think your requests are great and wothy of development, please do not hold your breath. That notwithstanding, this forum is not the best place for you to make these requests. Rather, a better place is to go to is Adobe Bridge Feedbackhttps://adobebridge.uservoice.com

I should also add that Adobe is currently on Holiday Break and will not return to their offices until (I believe) Jan 6th.

Now the good news, your 3rd request: You can do that now. At least I'm pretty sure you can. I'm on a Mac but I have to believe that the menus are the same. If you right-click on a menu you should see the following:

Notice on the bottom left I've got my mouse on "Choose Folder..." When you select that you should see a standard "open/select folder window and on the Mac it does provide an option to create a new folder at that location. I'd like to believe that Windows offers something very similar, see the screenshot below.
