I would like to ad my own meta data to adobe bridge CC. Most of the fields do not perfectly fit to what I want to ad to my videofiles. Is there any possability to create my own meta data file document and import it into adobe bridge?

Not all video formats support metadata.

To add your own fields (if supported) have a look at the Software Development Kit

Bridge Developer Center | Adobe Developer Connection

You will find examples on how to create your own.

Hi SuperMerlin,

thanks for your answer. Yes I was already searching on these sites and if I understood everything corect, it is possible, but you need to have developer skills in C+ or Jave and so on...

There is no software which simply can be opened, create your data and safe it as XMP file which can be imported into adobe bridge, is there?

Well! As a developer, the above is exectly what you do, I assume, but is there something more consumer orientated? Easier to handle?

Regards!

The only tool that is user friendly is ExifTool

ExifTool by Phil Harvey

I am not sure if it supports your own fields though.

There is nothing easy with Adobe though.
