Renaming/moving files in batch very slow

Hi,

When I try to renamle and move some XQD memory cards (240GB) to an SSD things get very slow (since a couple of versions of Bridge). Performance of the card reader and disc is fine outside Bridge. 

Tried every solution (clear caches regularly, do not generate yhumbnails for files greater than 1 mb,... ). 

It take for ages before the dialog box pops up for calculating the time and when he finally has calculated the time, it take another age for the warning "are you sure you want to move the read only file". Once it starts the batch rename/move proced performace is acceptable. It has to do with the tasks before. Any suggestions ?

I am not interested in the thumbnails, I just want to move the files to an SSD from memory card and do the processing in lightroom. Lightroom is suitable for renaming the files how I want...
