Search function not working in Bridge

Hello, the "search" function in Bridge is not working.  Looks like this is a common problem.   I have 60,000 photos that I need to search so needless to say this is a big issue for me.   I see similar issues dating back to 2017.  I tried reinstalling.  No luck.  I'm running macOS Catalina Version 10.15.3.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thannks
