Search not working if don't 1st do 'View/Show items in sub-folders' which takes an hour!

We're seeing that search does not find the expected images unless we 1st go to the top level folder and do: View/Show items in subfolders.

However indexing takes almost an hour for our 6,000 image library, making Bridge pretty unusable!

As I understand it, "View/Show items in subfolders" forces the library to be "indexed".

Why is that step needed if we have all ready exported a shared cache? (which took several hours itself!)

Running Bridge 10.0.4.157 on Windows 10 in a Google File Stream environment with the images and cache in the Google File Stream.

Anyone able to search reliably in a Google Filestream environment with a shared cache?

Bridge does not support cloud services period. What you are trying to accomplish will never work reliably.

Thanks for that info. So would a NAS device work with Bridge for remote access?

You can use NAS for file storage but we see a lot of complaints and problems posted. YMMV.
