Question

Search returning irrelevant results

I wanted to find a particular photo of our fire place - or is that fireplace? Not sure how I spelled it, I did an all metadata serach containing fire.  Wow!  I got hundreds of results that have absolutely nothing to do with fire.  I read all the metadata and couldn't find anything that came close to fire.
Why is this?  What can I do to get more accurate search results?

Hi @Suzanne331653381830 ,

Thanks for your feedback.

To better investigate the issue, could you please share the following:

  1. Bridge version
    2. System configuration
    3.
Please explain the issues which you are facing in detail and with steps to reproduce
    4. Video recording of the issue

We might reach out to you to get more information but to start with, it would be helpful if you can give more details around the issue along with the asked details.

Thanks,

1. Bridge version: 14.0.1.137

2. System configuration: (I think this is what you mean) MacBook Air Sonama 14.1.2

3. I have .mp4 videos and they accept a Keyword easily.  I have .mov videos that accept a Keyword easily.

However, I also have .avi videos which will not accept a Keyword.

Here is the description and I will attach a video too.

I select an .avi file.  I click on the Keyword I want.  The black checkmark appears for 1 second and then disappears.

See attached video.

Was "fire place" or "fireplace" a keyword, file name, folder name or something else?

I wasn't sure so I searched All Metadata. What I was surprised about was
the huge result I got - many many photos that didn't have fire anywhere in
their Metadata.
