For example I am searching within one folder

2023

Dogs

then the name of the dog

Unfortunately it displays all the photos labelled 2023

Does anyone have a solution?

thankyou Shannon

That's the way "Filter" works. It is an "or" filter on keywords.

Try using "Find" instead. (Edit>Find or Ctrl+F) You are able to choose the location to search, enter multiple search criteria by using the + symbol and choose to search for any or all criteria being met.

I think that should meet your needs better.

Can you post a screenshot showing how you performed this search?

Is the name of the dog a keyword, title, image name, folder name or something else?

Hi Eric

I thought by selecting multible keywords it would narrow it down eg All photos from 2023 then only Dogs in 2023 then only Waves out of those dogs in 2023. But it shows all photoa in 2023 all dogs (dogs and then Waves.

I search in the folder name Web.

then I select the following keywords

2023

Dogs and dogs (made a mistakewhen creating this)

then the name of the dog I want Waves

There are 5964 photos in Web

Select 2023 841 items screen attached

then selected Dogs and dogs

then selected Waves ( I have included a screenshot of how that file is keyworded
