Select different volumes while UI Window is open?

The big question is. Is this possible? And what kind of actions do I have to take to make this happen. I have currently built a UI but it does not let me select anything in bridge while its running.

I needed to change from dialog to pallette then it worked. Dialogs do not let you interact with the program.

I am not sure what you are trying to do?

Are you wanting to select certain files manually?

All of one type of files?

All files?

A Collection?

Change folders?

What is the script supposed to do?

While the UI is running the user would select folders then it would read how many images are in the folder and then add them to the UI. The result would be a count of how many pics you looked at. A final tally would be in the UI.
