Separate Keyword Databases?

OK, here's the issue.

I have a lot of Illustrator Artwork, which I have assigned keywords to.

I also have an extensive photo collection, as well as audio and video collections.

Is it possible to have separate keyword databases? What I mean is this: one keyword database for the Illustrator artwork that will not show up when I want to make  keywords assigned to photos, music, or videos? I have not found a way to do this. I am using CS4 on a WIndows 8.1 system.

Thank you for your assistance!

I would recommend that you categorise + sub-categorise into folders/sub-folders/keywords in a single keyword file. You should export this out to plain text file for backup on a regular basis.

An alternative variation on the previous suggestion would be to create separate keyword files and import/export them as required for the work at hand.
