sequence of photos gets lost in Bridge 2023 and 2022 changing from essentials to workspace

Question

hello, I make a specific sequence of photos in essential elements, then change to my workspace. However when I change back to essentials my sequence is gone! Also when I change to another map and come back to the map I worked on earlier, the sequence is lost. I have sorted manual on. Very frustrating as I lose a lot of time this way. I go back to the version of 2021 and there is no problem.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to maintain a custom sequence beyond its first creation. The only way I've found to do this is to rename the files. Then, to return to the custom order is to sort alphabetically.
