Short Cut in Bridge that does not work

In Bridge the instructor talks about a short cut that allows a user to go from the DMG file (already worked on in Camera Raw) directly to Photoshop, without bringing up the Camera Raw dialogue box again, by using using the SHIFT BUTTON and then clicking on the DMG file twice.  I have tried this several times, and it always takes me back to the Camera Raw page.   This is not that big of a deal, but my concern is if this is a bug, then there may be more bugs for me down the road in my PS CC 2020.  And should I reinstall just in case?  Has anyone else had this particular issue?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.   I really appreciate it!   🙂

If it's not working for you, then I would first try resetting the preferences, then reinstall. I believe this feature was introduced in CS6.

Hi, thank you for your reply.  I just tried that, and it still opens in Camera Raw.

I don't know about clicking twice, but in Bridge, I normally right click, that then press the shift key and select "Open."
