Single view of all images

Question

Is there a way in Bridge to view thumbnails of all images on all drives please?
 
I am looking for an image from a long way back, I don't know its filename or even its filetype. In short, it could be anywhere in four partitions and an external drive.
 
This is a new product to me.

CTRL F didn't work but the idea lead me to Bridge's search. Maybe a version issue?

At first I knew it wasn't working as it didn't include any of my photos. Then I found "included unindexed". It's working hard now. 🙂

Yes there is, but it will be memory and CPU intensive.  In Bridge go to the directory that says ''This PC'' and select it.  Then hold down the Ctrl key and press ''F''.  A dialog box will appear.  Select file type that you want to preview.  If you want to see all image formats, then you need to select each one separately, but you can do this by using the ''+'' key to add a new selection.  When you've done that slect where any condition is met and check the  subfolders box.  This will find every image file on all the drives listed below '''This PC'' in the directory structure.  Beware though, I have found that sometimes it will not pick up directories more than a couple of levels down in the structure.  Lookup the Ctrl-F function in the Adobe Bridge Knowledgebase.
