Slideshow Bug? - Slideshow stalls after three images

Windows 11 23H2 (I9 CPU and Nvidia RTX A4500 GPU)
Adobe Bridge 14.0.1.137

I have just noticed that playing a slideshow fails to work correctly (halts completely on the third image) in the following circumstances:

• The selected images are from a collection (smart or not)
• Images are selected by choosing a higher level folder and using View>Show Items from Subfolders

This is not dependent upon the file type - tested with JPEG, DNG and TIFF nor the number of images.
Slide duration, Caption, type of fill (Centred, Scaled to Fit, Scaled to Fill) Transition Options and Transition Speed do not seem to affect this issue for better or worse.

Note that there is no problem with the slideshow displaying correctly when the images are from a single folder, regardless of the number of images in that folder or their type.
