SORT CHANGING

Step 1: Organize photos in the order I want them

Step 2: Batch rename all the photos (10 photos +/-)

Step 3: A random order appears after the batch rename and I have to click on the SORT choice again.

 

Question.. When I organize the photos and do the batch rename, why is Bridge "scrambling " the order? Why can't Bridge just keep theim in the order I just set them to? This need to "Sort again" is a killer for our work flow. 

 

Any advice? Bridge team.. time for a bug fix?

Thanks for your feedback. We are not able to reproduce this issue internally.
Could you share the following details about the issue:

  • Bridge version
  • System configuration
  • Is the issue specific to particular files/format?
  • Sorting order before organizing the photos manually.
  • Batch rename settings 

Please share the sample file/files on which you are observing the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com
