Hey,

I was using some editing software for years and we allways had the possiblity to sort the colums of folder by more than one aspect.

Like: Type (DNG or JPG) and rating.

Or: Name and Date

Or : Date and Rating

How can i set this in Bridge?

Is this a special menu?

Do I need to do this in the search engine?

thanxs Peter

Bridge cannot sort in the way that, say, Excel can. You can only sort by one criteria at a time.

Ok,

if anyone wants this feature than you can vote for it.

here:

https://adobebridge.uservoice.com/forums/905323-feature-request/suggestions/43314180-advanced-sort

I just voted for mor advanced searching.

And if you are interested on how to do this very good than check out Avid Media Composer "sift"

It´s such a joy to work with. It was invented in the 90ies! And it seems that such thing sometimes

get overlooked.

With increasing digital files on my drives it gets very painfull to just search by one feature.

And if you need to search offline for files, there is a nifty german programmer that created "neofinder"

It cabn search in offline drives.

https://www.cdfinder.de/de/de/news.html

that´s it for me.

I hope you all have a good searching experience with the bridge and dont get lost in the fileuniverse.

may the force be with you.

amen.
