STACKING IMAGES IN BRIDGE

I transfer lots of photos from my camera to Bridge. In Bridge I do a batch rename, keyword them and save to a file. Because I take so many images of a given subject that are nearly identical I stack those images. Later when I do a keyword search they appear unstacked along with all the other images (with same keyword) I am seeking but they are not stacked! If I could keep those stacked it would greatly speed up my search process. Any ideas about this?

I'm not understanding. What do you mean you save to a file? And what do your stacks contain? When you search, it should find all the files with that search criteria. A stack can have files with different keywords so you can't just leave them stacked in search results.

After I rename and keyword each raw file in Bridge I save them to a folder which gets saved to an external hard drive. When I do a search I am searching the external hard drive using the year and name of the city.

.........and when I later do a search I would prefer to see only the first of several stacked files which I can open the stack later if I want. Keep in mind my search may show 100 fimages in Bridge but if they displayed in stacks I can look at the top image in that stack and say "no" and move on. This would reduce greatly the number of images I actually want to select.
