Suddenly not been able to open certain HEIC or DNG files from some folders when using Bridge.

I've suddenly not been able to open  HEIC or DNG files from certain folders when using Bridge. I'm getting the following message:

"The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no Camara Raw files selected or selected files were read only".   

The files do open if I drag them from bridge window on PS. And also open from finder using "Open With"

I'm on a 2017 iMac running OS 11.7.10 with PS and Bridge 2024. The files were imported from iPhone 14 pro via Lightroom

I've tried restarting in Safe Mode, and checked that I have full sharing & permissions in the get info window.

Would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks
