The history panel has disappeared

I have just updated photoshop and the history panel has disappeared, it does't

even appear in the windows drop down menu. Help, where has it gone?

Hi Lynn,

 

Just to verify, from what you wrote you're having an issue with Photoshop but you're asking for help in the Bridge forum. 

 

Is there something you didn't mention or are you in the wrong forum?

 

If you want I can move this thread over to the PS forum but it would be handy if you could add what your operating system is (and what release)?

 

And (just one more), is the History Panel listed in the Windows menu? Be aware that Adobe provides a variety of Workspaces to get folks started doing a variety of tasks. You can customize these even further by adding and/or removing Panels that you need or don't need. Just because a Panel is not showing does not mean that it's gone, just that it's not showing.
