The program (BR) continuously closes!! I Cant work

The program (BR) continuously closes shortly after I start it. I have sent many error reports and it keeps on doing it. i7 10th, gtx3070, 32ram... everything is up to date, program and software

Please Help

We suspect that the recent NVIDIA driver update is causing crash in Adobe Bridge.

(Driver version : 31.0.15.2802 (528.02) , Release date : 5 Jan 2023)

 

We are further investigating the issue, please confirm if the issue is resolved by either of the below steps:

  1. Downgrade the NVIDIA graphic card driver from by following the instructions on this link

 

  1. Switch to “Software rendering” in Bridge preferences by following the below steps.
    • Navigate to Edit-> Preferences-> Advanced
    • Enable checkbox “Use Software Rendering”
    • Restart Bridge
    • Check if the crash is resolved while previewing files.

Had the same problem: follow the community recommandation: uninstall and install version 12.03...magic!

Bridge is buggy as hell. I had to revert to version 12.0.3.270 until they fix my crash problem.

Reverting:
Open the Creative Cloud
Uninstall Bridge (an option in ...)
Reinstall Bridge specifying an earlier version, an option next to the Install button

You may have to reset the preferences and clear the cache also (Ctrl-Alt-Shift during startup).

Sadly the only solution is to uninstall and install a much older version. A pity for a subscription service.
Adobe does not look after Windows users.
