Thumbnails not updating in Bridge

Question

In Bridge opening images into CR, finished my edits in Photoshop and then saving into a jpg in the same file. In the middle of my session, the saved jpg are not longer showing Bridge. I did F5 to refresh but it did not change anything.

Hi Janet, when Bridge stops picking up newly saved files, a stale thumbnail cache is the usual culprit. Adobe's own troubleshooting guide lists purging the cache as the fix for this kind of unexpected Bridge behavior: go to Edit > Preferences > Cache and click Purge All Cache Now (or restart Bridge while holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift / Cmd+Option+Shift and tick Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache). Then reopen the folder — your saved JPGs should show up.
