TIF file not showing metadata or allowing keywords, thumbnails not showing

Hi all,

We have used Bridge for a long time and not had this issue.

All of the sudden, many thumbnails for our TIF files do now show in Bridge. There is a screenshot attached. Also, our metadata for some images is missing data. Many of them have lost their "keywords," so we are unable to filter through images based on keywords. 

When I try to assign a keyword to an image, the attached error comes up.

Help- what can we do?!
