It shouldn't have done that. I did a bit of research and (I'm guessing here) it seems that if you google this issue, there are some sites that give you a "hint" of how to extend your preview time. It involves looking for a certain bit of code in your system and arbitrarily replacing a string of numbers with a new set of the same number of numbers.

I'm guessing here but perhaps your real numbers got guess-hacked.

All that I can think of is that you call Adobe and ask for a new shot of a preview. I suppose you could also ask for some kind of extension on your purchase (if you chose to make one), like an extra month or something for the inconvenience that you are experiencing.
