Unable to add / select keywords

Hi there,

I am unable to add keywords to my photos in Bridge.

I have selected the photos however when it comes to clicking on the keyword I want to add it will not let me select this.

Any help?

I thought it was because my files were read only but I have made sure they are read and write.
