Unable to import Adobe Bridge cache

From a targeted folder containing photos (folder a), I have exported an Adobe Bridge cache via the TOOLS –> MANAGE CACHE -> EXPORT CACHE.

I attempt to import the cache into the appropriate folder (folder a) from a different computer through the commands TOOLS –> MANAGE CACHE -> IMPORT CACHE. When prompted, I expose the cache by holding "COMMAND+SHIFT+." on a Mac computer.

I select the newly exposed cache and am prompted with the following message:

"Shared cache is not available for selected locations."

How do I manage a single cache for multiple users? The goal of this is to prevent each team member from having to index thousands of photos. I want to be responsible for the lengthy indexing to allow other users to easily and expeditiously access photos via keyword searches.

    Hi Abhishek,

    Thanks for the links, but they do not pertain to my issue. As stated, I have exported per the steps in the linked article, but upon import, I get the following error:

    "Shared cache is not available for selected locations."

    Why can't I import an exported cache?

    might not be esactly the same error but you can try purge all local cache files (not specific location!) then import from folder again, this worked for me, cant find any documention on this anywhere.
