unable to save text in keyword in metadata panel of Bridge -- psd and psb files

I choose one or more photographs, I add the text "bw" in the keyword field, click on some other photo, and the new text is not saved.

I added text a few minutes ago with the same method, and now it doesn't work.

Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

Also, writing to large files can be slow. Be patient and let Bridge finish.

Besides what gregeser suggests you can also open the image into Photoshop, then go to File (menu) -> File Info, and check to see if the keywords show up there.

I have seen this recently in custom metadata panels, but it might also be happening in the standard keyword panel. Most often when this happens, the metadata is actually saved in the file, but it doesnt display.

Can you try navigating to another folder, then back? If that doesn't work, try restarting Bridge. Eihter of these might refresh the metadata display.

Sorry, I don't have an answer at this point, just questions.
