Unable to search Keywords in Adobe Bridge Software until we access the root folder/files to which we have assigned keywords

Hi

Please help me regarding searching files from windows server through the keyword using macintosh workstation systems, We want to use Adobe Bridge CC application for searching data archival using keywords.  For this I have implemented following steps :

I have created & shared a folder in windows 2008 Standard Server & copied some CCT Files which contains (Eg. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Jpeg, & other designer files) In that folder I have selected 6-8 files and assigned  keywords like soaps, flower etc.  After that I  installed Adobe Bridge in 2-3 Imac's and add the shared folder from Windows 2008 Server into all 3 imacs & tried searching the files using the key word called soaps, flower etc but I am unable to find the files with keywords assigned as soaps, flowers etc.  Instead I tried opening the folder in which the files were there in one imac workstation system  & I again tried searching this time I am able to see all the files with the assigned keywords.

This I did with other imac also I faced the same issue of not finding the files.  But when I tried opening the folder in which the files were there I am able to search those files.

So I want to know is there any solution for this as to why I have to go to the folder where I have kept the files to which I have assigned the keywords in every system.

Note : After adding the keyword we need to go to same path and search through the keyword then it will show the keyword path, If we are not visiting on path we are unable to search the file.

    You may need to force Bridge to find in all sub-folders and use un-cached/non-indexed files under the search folder in order to pickup this data. This would have to happen per computer.

    You may need to force Bridge to cache all items under the top level folder using the “show items from subfolders” feature at the top level of your browse:

    Bridge is “just a file browser”. Yes it has a cache, but it is not a multi user robust DAM system based on a database (both a benefit and a drawback).

    If Adobe Developer team please give a quick solution on this we can use it as an archival software in our system.

    This will be of great help as now most of the designers/designing companies generate huge amount of data i.e. in GB's and after a certain period of time if they want to retrieve the data from the archival data which is created 5-6 years back using keywords this software will be of great help and there is no need to go for separate DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Software.  So I request Adobe Developer team to work a solution on this and teach the companies how to use the Adobe Bridge Software so the faster you integrate this it will be of great help to Designer firms.
