Update Bridge 2024 to Bridge 2025 - No thumbnails will be generated

Hi all,

Yesterday I have done the update from Bridge 2024 to Bridge 2025.

 

Today I noticed that there were no thumbnails for new generated files after the update.

 

I deleted the cache but there is no regenerating of thumbnails.

Now I am without any previews... :(((

 

Any body can help please?

If you are dealing with a large number of files at one time and especially if generating high quality previews, then it will cause a delay in thumbnail generation.

You might try, in Bridge Preferences, under Thumbnails, checking the box "Prefer Thumbnail Generation Over Preview Generation". This should speed up your thumbnail generation at the expense of delaying preview generation.

    I'm having exactly the same problem - it's driving me nuts and all the work I'm trying to do is taking hours longer than necessary.. It seems that if you leave it "thinking" long enough, the thumbnails eventually, but most of us don't have all day to wait for something that should take less than a second!
