What is with Adobe and scrolling?

on a Mac, you can't use a trackpad or Wacom tablet with Bridge to scroll; it goes WAAAAAY too fast. You have to use the down arrow in the scrollbar. 

Anyone have any hacks or tricks to make it more reasonable? Adobe clearly couldn't care less.
