When will the file navigation window be fixed?

This has been posted about before but I'm becoming inpatient and I see no solutions still.

In my file navigation window I see two headers. "Favorites" and "Folders". In "Folders" I see "Desktop" and "This PC". Whenever I move or rename anything in a folder in "This PC", "Desktop" is expanded and the view jumps back to the top of the window and I have to renavigate to where I was.

Is there a solution to this coming soon?

Same problem. Very annoying. It also happens after moving files by dragging them to another folder. The view jumps to the top of the window.
