Where are my raw files?

After I batch rename my raw files they disappeared and the files I renamed are jpeg only. I also tried doing the same with jpeg files and as soon as they were renamed they disappeared. The folder became empty.

This is very frustrating. Have you experienced the same? Do you know if need to change a setting?

Did you by chance rename your raw files with .jpeg name extensions?

You have a screen shot of your batch rename process?

I assume you renamed them and put them in a new folder so the originals did not get over ridden.

Bridge does not delete files after a rename.

What process (exactly) did you rename your files? Tell us what menu, what selection, etc.

In the mean time, where (on your computer) were the files before you did the name change?
