Why Bridge is so slow when working with a lot of files

Bridge is created to manage photos, a lot of photos, not just one photo shot with 100-1000 photos.

But why Bridge is so slow when working with really big numbers of files?

For example, I have previews for all of my photos, every preview is about 3 MP, not so big. I want to select 10000 previews, then just cut it and paste to another folder. When I select 10000 preview photos and right click to get menu, Bridge is just freezing for a very... very long time. Any many other things: if I just select 2000 or more files and try to do anything with them, I'm 100% sure that Bridge will be slow and may freeze for a long time.

We are in 2025, photographers have collections of 100000 photos and more, why Bridge is still glitchy when working with big numbers of images? May be it's time to fix this?

Sure I'm using fact PC with SSD drive, so it's not a problem of old hardware.
