XMP file not transferred with NEF file

In Bridge 12.0.0.234, when I move a previously patched NEF file with Camera Raw to another folder, the XMP file is not transferred and remains in the original folder. I uninstalled then reinstalled and reset preferences, reset workspace to default, and purged cache, but that doesn't change anything. I don't have this problem if I use Bride 11.1.1.185
