Z8 not showing up in Finder on Mac

After connecting my Z8 to my Mac like I alwas do, uploader does not recognize the camera.  I also don't see it on Finder.  I cannot use Adobe Bridge to upload my photos. Laptop, Adobe software, and Camera firmware are all up to date on latest versions.  Please help.

If your Nikon Z8 isn't recognized by your Mac for photo uploads, troubleshoot by checking the USB cable and ports, verifying camera connection settings, restarting your Mac, testing with Image Capture, reviewing Adobe Bridge preferences, and temporarily disabling security software. If the issue persists, consider reinstalling the camera's firmware.
