Zooming preview in Bridge

Using the Essentials layout for Bridge CC, my preview approximately fills the screen on my 4K laptop screen.  If I move Bridge over to a 27" monitor, the Bridge workspace will expand to fill the monitor but the preview does not expand.  If I check "Generate Monitor-Size Previews," it makes no difference.  Also, Ctrl +/- has no affect on the preview zoom.  It seems absurd that I can easily regulate the size of the content thumbnails but I can't regulate the size of the preview.  Is there a way to do this?

What OS ?

Is the scaling value the same for both monitors if you are on windows 10?

    The laptop monitor (3840x2160) uses the recommended scaling value of 250%.  The Dell U2713H monitor (2560x1440) uses the recommended 100% scale.  Note that the Bridge UI adapts to the difference.  The preview size is the problem.
