Czech language in Photoshop
Please, correct 2x two mistakes in Czech translation for ACR: Basic → Profile.
My recommendation concerns folowing profiles (here in english):
- Adobe Landscape
- Adobe Portrait
and the corresponding second pair
- Camera Landscape
- Camera Portrait
The terms 'Landscape' and 'Portrait' are used in english for both:
- Landscape can be a 'subject' (scene) or 'format of the photo' (= wide format)
- Portrait can also be a subject or format (= high format)
In Czech there are TWO DIFFERENT terms for for Landscape/Portrait, one for the subject and different one for the format.
Current translations in Adobe Camera Raw → Profiles are:
- (Adobe/Camera) Landscape = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Na šířku'
- (Adobe/Camera) Portrait = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Na výšku'
These are the terms used in Czech for the format. However, Profiles are dealing with specific looks for specific SUBJECTS, not with formates.
Therefore correct translations in this context are:
- (Adobe/Camera) Landscape = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Krajina'
- (Adobe/Camera) Portrait = (Adobe/Fotoaparát) 'Portrét'
