P: Distraction Removal: People (CR & LrClassic)

I used the Distraction removal tool for the first time. I used the people remover option on a low-key image of a pub in London. It was remarkable how well it worked. It removed 4 people and recreated the background perfectly. 

The functionality missed some (for example a leg when someone is setting on a bench). It would be great if we could edit the selected zones.

It would be useful if the selection from distracting people removal could be edited to refine the area

Ditraction tool remover is an excellent tool indeed. to some extent, self selection and manual deletion offers gret comfort to editor but there could be a manual selector also where user can select entire person distraction the frame just like object tool selection in masking. many of the times, distraction removal tool includes main subject too and deletion of its pin unselect distracting people.

Just used the people distraction tool, unfortunately was unsuccessful.  Whilst it immediately identified and removed the person it left behind a white background image of the person, maybe it’s me but not sure.

People removal tool was working fine (as good as it gets) until last few weeks. Now, it won’t detect people that it used to (most aren’t selected, handful are). Anyone else with the issue?

While a great idea, this function removed the people but leaves behind dark shadows where the people once were. Having the people there would be better than having those dark shadows.

I have tried “Remove Reflections” in Pshop/Camera Raw Filter on two paintings with glass. Both failed to remove my reflection but I had much better luck on “Remove People” although the feature still needs improvement. 

It does a great job with the people it selects, but if often misses people that I think are distracting.  I’d like more control over who it selects.
