P: Distraction Removal: People (CR & LrClassic)

I have an example, people on the left removed, ignored on the right side, even if optically arguably better visible as “people.”

How do I add the people that the AI didn’t pick up?  I can remove the ones that were automatically chosen, but I can’t add someone else that it’s not picking.  There is no ADD people to the feature.  

Works so well. Brilliant.

It doesn’t work very well. I cannot find all the distracting people in a raw file and if they are behind something like a chain link fence but clearly visible it doesn’t work there either. 

Using the distraction removal tool for people in LrC, and it removed the person I wanted but replaced it with a different person, an auto-generated person. I erased that one and another generated person replaced that one. So, it was a fail on this image. It worked on other pictures. (I don’t want to attach the image as I don’t have permission to send out the others in the group.) I edited it in the latest update in Photoshop’s distraction removal for people instead.

I used the Distraction removal tool for the first time. I used the people remover option on a low-key image of a pub in London. It was remarkable how well it worked. It removed 4 people and recreated the background perfectly. 

The functionality missed some (for example a leg when someone is setting on a bench). It would be great if we could edit the selected zones.

It would be useful if the selection from distracting people removal could be edited to refine the area

Ditraction tool remover is an excellent tool indeed. to some extent, self selection and manual deletion offers gret comfort to editor but there could be a manual selector also where user can select entire person distraction the frame just like object tool selection in masking. many of the times, distraction removal tool includes main subject too and deletion of its pin unselect distracting people.
