Ok, what adobe have made? Now when a package it´s generated it creates an img1.json on the DR folder? Where the images gone? I have a few plugins that read the images straight from the folder.

Thans RodWard yeah nothing there, I think that this was a big change but I seem the only one that care about that I´m going to stick with 9.0.0.023 until I find a solution to that. Thanks again mate.

I believe the reason for the move to JSON files instead of PNG images is that this achieves the faster HTML5 loading that Adobe has been reporting for the 9.0.2 version.  You could have potentially hundreds of PNG files in a decent-sized course and when these PNG files are separate files then each one has to be requested individually from the web server.  But if you have all those PNGs packaged inside a JSON file then only ONE request to the server is necessary.  That's going to mean the content loads faster.

I've not seen anything documentation-wise coming from Adobe about the additional JSON files.  You'll just have to take it from the forum posts.

This is their release notes page:
