Captivate 8 and Object Style Manager?

Am I correct, in that, any changes I want to make to things such as buttons ect, it's best to make those changes in the Object Style Manger rather than each one through the properties panel? This keeps the items it uniform throughout the Captivate presentation, especially if it's responsive?

In addition, what does the + mean when it shows up in the properties panel?

A follow up to my question. Is it best practice to plan out the items int he Object Style Manager BEFORE I start creating the e Learning modules?

That + sign means that you overridden a style, something to avoid in most

cases. You can create object styles in the OSM but also with the hamburger

menu in the style part of the Properties panel, based on changes you made.

Both Create Nes style or apply changes to existing style are available in

that menu.

Thank you.

When I go to Preferences/Quiz/Default Labels, I noticed after I choose a new style it does not show it when I create a new quiz. Shouldn't that happen? Maybe I'm doing it wrong and it is showing it.

Hmmm, I never use Default labels to change the style of one of the Quizzing Objects, I always do it in the OSM. If I remember well you are on CP8, cannot double-check because I no longer have that version installed.
