Captivate 9 is freezing when I click on new project - MAC

Any time I click on new --> blank project (or any of the other 5) it freezes and has to be forced quit. Any suggestions?

I can open an existing project. But not a new one??

    Are you on the latest version 9.0.2.437?

    Do you clean the cache regularly? If that doesn't solve the problem, please Clean the Preferences. You'll have to run the appropriate file from the subfolder 'utils' under the CP installation folder.
