Question

Hours of voiceover gone when file got damaged. Audio.cpad?

Hello,

Id appreciate any help I can get. I made the mistake of manually (not via captivate) deleting my cache files from the computer. It said that loads of .cpd files couldn't be found and this caused a file i was working on to not save properly. Ive tried every way of getting it back.

I'm curious about the audio.cpad file. Can i somehow extract my sound files from it?

Thanks

Do you still have the CPTX project file?  If so, all of your audio files should still be in the Library.

Did you have backups turned on?  If so, even if your main CPTX is toast you should still be able to open the backup.

I have little hope, but did you try to open the Library of that file as an External Library?

Use File, Import, External Library... and point to the cptx-file. The Library should open in a floating panel (where the internal Library is mostly docked in the right docking station).
