How do I prevent the Tab key from accessing the address bar and play bar in Captivate9/ HTML5

I am in need of deactivating the "normal" function of the tab key accessing the address bar and play bar.  I am simulating an application where I have a text entry box in a field.  In order to go to the next field in the "real" system, the user needs to click tab.  We are publishing in HTML5.  In SWF changing shortcut to TAB works but not for HTML5 output.  Any suggestions?
